The daughter of Andrlová and Vyskočila has changed beyond recognition. Michaela brought her parents together and gave birth to a granddaughter

The separation of the acting couple Ivana Andrlová and Ivan Vyskočil was one of the most discussed in Czech show business at the time. A romantic beginning was followed by a difficult separation and long years of tension. Only their daughter Michaela and the birth of their granddaughter Rozárka were able to mend the relationship between the former partners.

Too soon, too strong

Ivana Andrlová was one of the most popular young actresses in the early 1980s. Beautiful, gentle and remarkably talented. At just twenty years old, she fell under the spell of her much older colleague Ivan Vyskočil, who had already had two divorces. At the time, she didn't consider his past as a warning — she was simply in love.

In 1981 they got married and soon their daughter Michaela was born. On the outside, they seemed like a family from a movie fairy tale, but inside, the relationship was slowly falling apart. After about fifteen years, the divorce came, which was accompanied by regrets from both sides and media interest.

Everyone bore the consequences

Both spoke differently about the breakup in the past:

Andrlová indicated that she felt restricted and could not breathe in the relationship.

Vyskočil claimed that the actress turned her feelings elsewhere.

The rebel grew into a balanced woman and mother

Michaela matured and settled down. She became the mother of a daughter, Rozárka, who became a bridge between the two families. It was the birth of the granddaughter that created the space for the relationship to calm down.

"After the arrival of the granddaughter, everything calmed down. There is no other way — when you agree on babysitting, you have to talk," confirmed Vyskočil recently.

Andrlová today speaks of her granddaughter with great love and describes her as a "source of joy and energy".

"I have two chargers in my life. A partner and granddaughter," she confided for Prima Ženy.

It's calm today. And maybe even forgiveness

The ex-spouses do not spend free time together, but communication is cultured and respectful. Life sent everyone to different places, but the family bond remained.

From the once heated emotions, something much more precious remained — willingness to move on.
