Michaela Kuklová's son is growing up before her eyes: Roman is engaged in combat sports and dreams of architecture

Actress Michaela Kuklová has been among the most popular Czech film princesses for decades. And even though she doesn't film as much as she used to, she remains beautiful, energetic and positive. Life has brought her many twists and turns, but she still has one certainty — her son Roman, who makes her extremely happy.

Difficult past and relationship with Jiří Pomej

Michaela Kuklová made her mark in the hearts of the audience with the role of Princess Jasněnka or Elizabeth from the fairy tale From the Hell of Happiness. But her personal life also resembled a film script full of emotions.
In 1994, she married the actor and producer Jiří Pomeje. Their marriage was very stormy and ended in divorce. "I knew that if he didn't get rid of his addiction to alcohol, I couldn't have a child with him," Kuklová admitted in one of the interviews.

After Pomeje's death in 2019, she often returns to their moments together with nostalgia. "We also experienced beautiful things. And I won't forget them," she said with emotion.

New love and the birth of a son

After her divorce from Pomej, she found support in businessman Roman Holomka. It is with him that she has her only son Roman, who is growing up today and makes her very happy.
"I was vulnerable and tired then, but he was a strong man. He helped me stand up," the actress recalls.

The relationship with Holomek only lasted four years, but he left behind the most important person in her life — her.

A fighter with talent

Roman, according to Mom is definitely not going to continue in her acting footsteps. "She has no acting ambitions and I'm actually glad for that," Michaela laughs.
However, he enjoys combat sports, specifically krav maga, where he learned the basics of self-defense and discipline. In addition, he also has musical talent — he is said to have a great rhythm and sense of music.

He designed his own room

Roman also has creative abilities. Even as a child, he said he knew exactly what a children's room should look like.
"He described every detail to me - the colors, the placement of the furniture, the lights. So I made it as a surprise for him when he was on vacation with his father for a week," the actress told Lifee magazine.

However, the surprise didn't quite work out. Roman wanted to design the room himself. "He was a bit disappointed, but I explained to him that it would take too long. In the end, he adjusted a lot of things in his own way," she added with a smile.

Animal lover and boy with a big heart

Roman is said to have loved animals since childhood. "He gets along with them, he is empathetic and sensitive," says the proud mother of her son.
Although he now claims that he wants to "live without hair", Michaela believes that one day he will get a four-legged friend again.
