Leoš Mareš's son is studying in Florida. The presenter invests millions in his education and sports passion

Leoš Mareš is one of the most successful presenters in the Czech Republic and he is no stranger to financial investments. However, it's not just about luxury cars and real estate - he also devotes a large part of his funds to the future of his children. Thanks to this, the eldest Jakub is studying at a prestigious American university and is dedicated to water skiing.

The journey from an international school to an American university

Jakub, who Mareš has with his first wife Monika, started attending Park Lane International School in Prague after primary school. This prestigious institution teaches exclusively in English and according to the British educational model, which differs from the Czech one - for example, it graduates here a year earlier. The annual tuition is around 600 crowns, without additional expenses for food or transport.

After successfully completing his studies, Jakub moved to the USA, where he is now attending Florida Southern College. The annual tuition comes to almost a million crowns, and that does not include accommodation, food or other costs. Jakub plans to study for four years, so the amount for the education will reach several million crowns.

A sports hobby that also costs something

In addition to school, Jakub is involved in water skiing, which is his great passion. This sport requires not only training, but also expensive equipment and travel to competitions. Mareš makes no secret of the fact that he financially supports his son's activities, because he believes that quality education and sports facilities are the best investment for the future.

Family stories with a smile

Although Jakub has secured a top education, this does not mean that he has unlimited access to his father's wallet. This spring, a funny story appeared during Monika Marešová's live broadcast on social networks. At that time, Jakub was returning from the Prague Slavia stadium and found that he had no money for a taxi. He asked for help directly in the comments of the broadcast, and finally the grandmother solved the situation. Even so, the taxi driver did not accept payment by card, so his mother had to step in with cash.
