The son of Jan Čenský is elegant after his father. Matyáš went through a tough school, ended up in Australia, and today he takes pictures

The marriage of actor Jan Čenský and his wife Dana is one of the most stable relationships in Czech show business. It was there that their only son Matyáš grew up, but he did not inherit acting from his famous father. He chose his own path - and it took him to the opposite end of the planet.

When Jan wanted to get Dana, he had to fight

Jan Čenský is for many people a symbol of gallant elegance who was always surrounded by female favor. But he had to fight for his future wife much more than it might seem. Dana attracted him at first sight, but her surroundings discouraged him from a relationship. But that didn't deter him - on the contrary. He finally won his chosen one and they got married shortly after meeting.

To this day, the actor remembers that he still managed to play a theater performance on his wedding day. After the ceremony, he "disappeared" for several hours, and when he returned to the celebration, some of the guests did not even recognize him.

The crisis that tested the relationship

Even their marriage did not escape trials. Almost twenty years ago, photographs appeared showing Čenský hugging another woman. The affair filled the headlines at the time and caused a storm at home. Dana admitted that repairing the trust will not be easy. In the end, they managed to overcome everything and today they have been together for over three decades.

The father was a prince, but the son did not know about it for a long time

Matyáš spent less time with his father because Čenský worked a lot, but they enjoyed their time together all the more — they played sports, went to nature and were close. It is interesting, however, that little Matyáš had no idea that his father was a famous fairy-tale prince. His parents didn't let him watch movies with his dad at home. It was even more of a shock for him when people on the street wanted to take pictures with his father.

"I kicked him out to Australia." And it was right

Censký always wanted his son to stand on his own two feet. And so he literally "pushed" him out into the world - specifically to Australia. Matyáš went there to improve his English and find himself. A year of living in a foreign country changed him. He worked there as a bartender, met new friends and learned to be independent.

After returning, he completed an English university in Prague, where he studied business, but a classic office did not appeal to him.

A photographer who lives an adventure

Today, Matyáš devotes himself to professional photography and video. He loves travel, nature and adrenaline, so he often hangs with his camera on rocks, wades through mountains or documents wedding stories.

Jan Čenský talks about his son with pride. They claim that their relationship is not only parent-son, but in many ways resembles the friendship of two brothers.
