Who does Michal Suchánek live with: Renáta stood by him even in times of debt. She blew off the infidelity gossip with one sentence

Actor Michal Suchánek is one of the regulars on television, and the audience associates him not only with Partička, but also with his strong sense of humor. Although he has been in the spotlight for years, one pillar of his life remains strong and unchanging — family. And above all his wife Renáta, who stood by him even in situations where many other relationships ended.

The wife who put her family first

Renáta Suchánková is inconspicuous at first glance, but she hides a great talent. She was engaged in dancing from a young age — she worked in the Czechoslovak State Ensemble of Songs and Dances, later performed in Austria and finally studied choreography at the AMU.

But her artistic career took a different direction when her children came along — son Jáchym and daughter Berenika. Michal was working a lot at the time, and Renáta practically took care of the family on her own.

"I didn't regret it. I wanted to be with the children and be close to them," says Renáta.

To this day, she is convinced that clearly defined roles in the family are the reason why their marriage has been working for 37 years.

She swept gossip about her lover off the table

In In 2014, the information that Suchánek was allegedly spending time with another woman — the sister of Richard Genzer - caused a stir. According to witnesses, he was even supposed to drive to her overnight. The media was expecting a storm. But instead of a scandal, there was a surprise.

Renata reacted calmly and confidently:

"I am convinced that Michal was never unfaithful to me."

And that was the end of the sensation. No tears, no throwing suitcases in front of the house. It is clear that there is trust between them, which was not built for a month, but for a decade.

The most difficult period: debts and fraud from a friend

However, everything was not always rosy. At the beginning of the 1990s, Michal got involved in a business that turned out to be disastrous. Together with a friend, he ran a pub — but invoices were written to Suchánek, he only signed without checking the accounting.

The friend cheated him and within a few months debts in the order of millions arose.

"I was an actor, not a businessman. I trusted him. And I paid for it," he described.

What happened next blackmail, blocked accounts and ten years of repayment. The family lived modestly, the children wore clothes from the bazaar. And Renata? She stayed.

"She kept me afloat. I wouldn't have done it without her," says Suchánek.

A strong family without frills

Today, the children are grown up — Jáchym and Berenika are acting, by the way — but the family still holds tightly together. Michal himself has admitted several times that he was really lucky to have a family in his life and that this is not a matter of course.

For him, Renáta is not only a partner, but a support that has not been overcome by tabloid talk, financial crises, or years in the unpredictable world of show business.
