Richard Chlad's wife regrets a big mistake. Anna Marie Kánská is thinking about changing her name

Entrepreneur and former car racer Richard Chlad has been happily married for several years to Anna Maria Kánská, daughter of actress Veronika Kánská, whom they love as Blažena from the famous trilogy Sun, hay.... Their relationship seems stable and full of mutual support. Nevertheless, Anna Marie recently admitted that she would do one thing differently today — she regrets the decision about her name after marriage.

Love at first sight

Richard and Anna Marie met through mutual friends and a spark flew between them from the first meeting. The engagement followed shortly after and the wedding took place in November 2023. The couple first got married in the romantic Maldives, then they officially confirmed their marriage in the Czech Republic.

Since then, they have appeared one after the other at social events, seem in love and show each other that they can hold their own even in challenging moments. Richard Chlad is known for his directness and the fact that he always publicly defends his wife if he feels that she is being attacked.

Incident in Tenerife

One of the proofs that he knows how to stand up for his wife is the incident that took place in Tenerife, where many Czech celebrities spend part of the year. During the party there, the husband of presenter Zuzana Belohorcová, Vlasta Hájek, was supposed to make an unpleasant connection with Anna Marie.

The businessman immediately stood up for her. "My friends and I had to intervene. Michal David was also indirectly involved in the whole situation, who unfortunately got involved," said Chlad for Prima Ženy. The conflict eventually ended in a minor fight, which, according to him, was caused by a drunk Hájek.

"I insisted on both surnames. And now I regret it."

Although their relationship seems harmonious, Anna Marie has now admitted that she would have done one thing differently at the wedding. She then decided to keep her double surname — Kánská Chladová. Today, however, she would take a step back.

"I made the mistake of insisting on my husband's last name as well. Whenever I have to manually fill in the full name, I feel like tearing my hair out. I'm considering getting it changed, even if it will cost ten crowns and a lot of time," she confided to the Blesk newspaper. not only impractical, but also unnecessarily complicated when working with documents.

Richard Chlad and his new direction

The businessman, who is also known as a lover of luxury cars, has recently been heavily involved in politics. He actively supports the newly formed party Motoristé sebe, which wants to defend the rights of drivers and motorists.

And although his name sometimes fills the tabloid headlines, Chlad claims that he tries to keep his feet on the ground and devote himself primarily to his projects and family. "I have a wife whom I love, and thanks to her I am calmer. I am learning to be more reasonable," he said in one of the interviews.
