Michal David's grandson grows up to be a talented musician. Sebastian shines on the guitar and the grandfather sees in him the successor of his legacy

For Michal David and his wife Marcela, Sebastian is not just a grandson. By the time his mother Klára left to study in the USA, he actually became their third child. And apparently they gave him not only a home, but also a solid foundation for life.

A family struck by tragedy

Michal David and Marcela will soon celebrate an incredible forty years of marriage together. But their life was not all about joy. Both spouses lost their younger daughter Michaela, who succumbed to aggressive leukemia at just nine years old. The pain of this loss marked the family forever.

Then they built an even stronger bond with Klara's son Sebastian. After graduation, Klára went to study in the United States, and her studies lasted ten years. And while she was gaining experience abroad, her son grew up with his grandparents.

Sebastian's father was not interested in his son, so the Davids accepted him with open arms. "Marcela raised him, I was more like the good grandfather," the singer admitted in interviews with a smile. Nevertheless, he praises his education - today he is growing into a healthy, self-confident and hardworking young man.

Music is his passion

When Sebastian had his birthday this year, he received an electric guitar from his grandfather. And since then, he sits with her practically every day. David noticed that his grandson not only had talent, but above all a great desire to learn new things.

And so his dream came true: Sebastian performed alongside Michal David at a big concert in the O₂ arena. He played his first big show in front of twenty thousand spectators. The singer was extremely proud of his grandson.

Music yes, nature different

Although they understand each other thanks to music, they are each a little different in character. David is a typical bohemian, while Sebastian is more of a calm and deep thinking type. He is interested in technology, the world of cryptocurrencies and investing. In this, he is following in the footsteps of his mother Klára, who is dedicated to the crypt and diamonds.

"I wish he would devote himself to technology and not just play games," says Klára, who is happy that her son is really interested in finance.

The future is open

Sebastian is not only a handsome young man with the face of a model, but also a talented musician who can become one day the true successor of his grandfather. Whether he prefers music, technology or a completely different path, one thing is clear – his family is justifiably proud of him.
