František Prachař, the son of the acting couple Linda Rybová and David Prachař, is gradually following in the footsteps of his artistic parents. Although his first ambitions were aimed at the football field, today it is clear that he is more attracted to the world of acting, music - and occasionally fashion than sports.

Artistic talent in the family

František comes from a branched family of actors. His grandfather, Ilja Prachař, made his mark in the audience's consciousness especially as Trautenberk from the legendary Krkonoše fairy tales. From a previous relationship with Dana Batulková, father David Prachař has Jakub Prachař and a daughter Mariana, who have also established themselves in the world of art.

Two daughters, Josefína and Rozálie, who are acting, and a son František, who seems to have artistic ambitions after their parents, were born with Linda Rybová.

From football to the conservatory

As a child, František dreamed of football player's career. He played for Slavia Prague and Vyšehrad, but as he admitted in an interview, he himself felt that his path would lead in a different direction. After entering high school, he began to think about acting and was finally accepted to a conservatory where he studies theater acting.

At the same time, he has been into music since childhood. He has been playing the guitar since the age of eight, and a year later he added the violin. He currently works in his own band, which he founded with friends from the conservatory. He composes songs, sings and plays the guitar. Stylistically, the band oscillates between Czech rock and pop.

Experience on the catwalk

Thanks to his appearance, František also tried modeling. For example, he performed at the Prague Fashion Week alongside his half-sister Mariana Prachařová. Although he was not seen in this area, he aroused the interest of the public. According to him, however, he prefers more creative activities, such as acting and music.

Father's support and concerns

Father David Prachař has a mixed attitude towards his son's choice. On the one hand, she supports him in his efforts, on the other hand, she is aware of the demands and uncertainty of the acting profession. "We know the job from the inside, we know what it entails. But it's his choice and I don't discourage him from it," the actor told Sedmička magazine.
