Actress Sandra Nováková is returning to TV screens after almost a year's acting break. Viewers will see her again in the popular series Ulice, where she got there thanks to her own initiative. She wrote about the role herself, and her courage paid off.

After a longer acting break, Sandra Nováková is returning to the television screen - directly to the long-time popular series Ulice. Nova TV actively wrote about the role herself when she decided to take fate into her own hands.

"I was without job opportunities for almost a year. Finally, I mustered up the courage and contacted the casting director saying that I would like to work again. And within a few days I received an answer and an invitation to the casting," the actress revealed with a smile. Casting took place in two rounds - and Sandra won it.

Her new character is supposed to be expressive and full of conflicts, according to behind-the-scenes information, she could even compete with the well-known director Sona, played by Lucie Vondráčková.

Luxurious preparation in Dubai

Even before starting filming, Nováková indulged in a rest with her husband, director Vojtěch Moravec. Together they went to the iconic Atlantis The Palm hotel in Dubai, which is one of the most luxurious resorts in the region. On social networks, the actress shared several shots from her vacation, where she impressed not only with the exotic environment, but also with her impeccable styling.

Experienced actress with dramatic roles

Sandra Nováková is known for her outstanding acting career. She gained great popularity as Gábina in Ordinac v rozážadne, where she portrayed a character going through difficult life situations - from addiction to psychological collapses. She then tried a lighter position in the series ZOO.

Now she is heading to Ulica, where she is to take on a role with the potential to evoke strong emotions in the audience. "Joining a series that has been running for two decades is exceptional for me. People grow up with that story - and I become a part of it," says Nováková.

Her return is further proof that in the acting world, courage and own initiative can open new doors. And maybe this role will bring another of the characters that the audience will fall in love with - or at least remember for a long time.
