Who does Michal Suchánek really live with? Renata believed him even when the tabloids were talking about infidelity

Actor, presenter and comedian Michal Suchánek belongs to people who are lucky in life not only in career, but also in love. He met his wife Renata in his youth and they have been living together for almost four decades. Nevertheless, even their relationship was not spared by difficult moments and unpleasant media speculation.

Love from the conservatory that lasted a lifetime

Michal Suchánek met the dancer and choreographer Renata during his studies at the conservatory. While other youth relationships fizzle out quickly, theirs has proven exceptionally strong. They said yes shortly after finishing school - in April 1989, just a few months before the Velvet Revolution.

Since then, they have been an inseparable pair. They will soon celebrate forty years of life together, which is more of a rarity than a rule in Czech show business.

Two children, two completely different worlds

Two children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Suchánk. The older son Jáchym was engaged in professional hockey for a long time and even went overseas. However, he eventually left the sports track and went in a different direction – he studied directing and production and today he works in the world of music videos.

Daughter Berenik, on the other hand, inherited her father's artistic genes. She established herself as an actress and singer, played in musicals and appeared in several well-known series. It is obvious that there is definitely no shortage of talent in the Suchánk family.

A business mistake that hurt years of repayment

The early nineties were not easy for Michal Suchánek. Without a permanent acting job, he decided to try business and was persuaded to open a pub. It turned out to be a fatal mistake.

The business was registered in his name, but it was actually run by a friend who disappeared after a few months - along with the money. The biscuit was left with debts, unpaid invoices and enormous stress. He paid off his debts for many years and still talks about this period as one of the hardest lessons in life.

The tabloid affair that did not break the marriage

Years ago, their relationship came under media pressure. The tabloid came up with the claim that the actor is having an affair with another woman and also brought photos that were supposed to serve as "proof". Everything spread quickly and speculations gathered momentum.

But Renata Suchánková did not hesitate. She publicly stood up for her husband and made it clear that she did not believe the sensational news. According to her, she has an attentive partner at home who, even after many years, shows her affection with small gestures and messages.

A strong marriage against all odds

While other couples would not be able to withstand similar pressure, the Suchánkys proved that their mutual trust is stronger than the headlines in the newspapers. Today, he seems composed, calm and composed.
