Singer Bára Basiková belongs to the most outstanding personalities of the Czech music scene. Although her career is full of success, her personal life was much more complicated. She has experienced three marriages, deep depression and immense maternal love. Today, she is a mother of three and her youngest son, Theodor, is beautiful – according to the singer, he is all Alain Delon.

First marriage: love with a carpenter and twins Anna and Marie

Bára Basiková married for the first time at her twenty-seven years. Her first husband was carpenter and former musician Petr Jícha, with whom she lived together for seven years. During their marriage, twins Anna and Marie were born, who are now grown women.

Because Bára was fully launching her musical career at the time, Petr spent a lot of time with the children. Over time, however, the relationship became exhausted and both admitted that their paths lead elsewhere. The separation took place peacefully and they remained in good contact mainly because of the children.

Second marriage: an architect and ten years full of twists and turns

Architect Jaromír Pizinger became her second great love. The singer was head over heels in love at the time and was attracted to the fact that Jaromír was a bit older and more experienced. Bára often recalls that it was with him that she got to know a completely different world - calmer, more intellectual, more stable.

However, even this fairy tale had an end. After ten years of marriage, the couple broke up. It was during this period that Basiková began to experience serious psychological problems, which brought her to the brink of strength.

The struggle with depression and the desire to live for the sake of her children

Bára never hid the fact that she suffered from depression for a long time. She even admitted that she thought about suicide twice – once in her youth and the second time just after the breakup of her second marriage.
"I told myself that I couldn't do this to my children. It would be a huge crime," she confided in one of the interviews.
In the end, it was love for her children that brought her out of the darkness, thanks to which she found the strength to live and create again.

Third marriage: younger actor and late motherhood

The singer's third husband was actor Petr Polák, who was fifteen years younger. She had just given birth to her third child with him - son Theodor, whom she gave birth to at forty-six years.

"The birth was beautiful and moving. I was conscious, but I didn't feel pain. When I heard it was a boy, I cried," Basiková recalled.

Unfortunately, this marriage did not last either, although both remained in friendly contact due to common son. Theodor is growing up by her side and, according to the singer, he is all about her – vivacious, artistically inclined and very charismatic.

At the beginning of this year, Basiková showed off a black-and-white photo of her son on social networks, which caused a great response. "I've always liked Alain Delon. And now I have him at home," she wrote with a smile under the photo.
And it's not far from the truth - young Theodor has piercing eyes, elegant features and natural charm, which fans immediately compared to the French film legend.

He doesn't give up on love

Despite having three divorces, Bára Basiková on love she didn't resent. He still believes that the right one exists somewhere - and he can easily meet him online. "Life should be lived to the fullest. And if I meet a man with whom I can get along, I will be only too happy," she says with a smile.

Today, she devotes herself fully to music, children and herself. After years of turbulence, she finally found inner peace and strength to be herself.
