Kristýna Hrušínská from Ulica has changed beyond recognition. She put away her glasses and today she exudes confidence and elegance

Actress Kristýna Hrušínská is one of the prominent faces of the Czech TV series , where she portrays the character of Vanda Voláková. Viewers today associate her with charismatic looks and natural elegance, but her beginnings on the screens looked completely different.

From an inconspicuous girl to an actress

When Kristýna appeared in her first roles, she appeared as a modest student with distinctive prescription glasses. At that time, she played, for example, in the series Pojišťovna štice, Vypravej or in the continuation of the legendary Hospital on the outskirts of the city. At the time, few would have guessed that the inconspicuous young girl would grow into one of the most outstanding actresses of today.

Today she is forty, and even those closest to her are talking about the transformation she has undergone. The once quiet tourism student who originally wanted to work as a tour guide has become a confident actress with a solid position on the Czech theater and television scene.

Acting is in his genes

It is not surprising that Kristýna eventually settled on acting - she was born into a famous acting family. Her father Jan Hrušínský is an actor and director of Divadl Na Jezerce, her mother Miluše Šplechtová is also a recognized actress. And the acting tradition of the Hrušínský family goes back to Josef Kajetán Tyl.

"I feel a great responsibility for our name and the theater that my father built. But at the same time, I am proud that I can continue this tradition," admitted Kristýna in one of the interviews.

Love and family in Nuslí

She found her fateful love in the director Matěj Balcar, with whom she has two sons - Vojtěch and Jakub. They live together in the family villa in Nuslí, where almost the entire Hrušín family lives under one roof.

The beginnings of the relationship were not easy, because Balcar met Kristýna when he was already working with her father. "I was worried that it wouldn't look strange. I still remember how one morning I crept down the stairs and Jan Hrušínský appeared downstairs in a bathrobe. We just wished each other a good day and I quickly disappeared," the director recalled with a smile.

Today, their relationship is strong and together they stand not only for family life, but also for several successful projects. Kristýna also starred in his films and plays, for example in the comedy Pánský klub.

Transformation also thanks to my husband

Hrušínská makes no secret of the fact that her husband also influenced her transformation to the current elegance. "I had a period of pulled-up sweaters and Turkish pants. My dad once jokingly said that Matěj made me a woman. Today, I am much more careful about what I wear," she revealed.

Whether Balcar is behind the change or natural maturation, the fact remains that today Kristýna looks confident, elegant and literally "maturing like wine".

Street

While her family has strong roots in the theater, Kristýna has also become a star on television screens. The role of Vanda Voláková in the endless series Ulice brought her popularity and brought her closer to the viewers who watch her every early evening today.Although her character's storyline is often dramatic, fans have grown fond of her and can no longer imagine the series without her presence.

Kristýna Hrušínská is thus a prime example of the fact that the transformation of a woman does not have to be only a matter of appearance, but also of life experiences, love and professional fulfillment.
