Kristýna Frejová about her daughter: She wants to go to FAMU, but without the help of a famous name

Actress Kristýna Frejová, whom viewers know for example from the new series of ZOO – Nové zácátky, does not talk about her privacy very often. All the more interesting is the view of her relationship with her daughter Ráchel, who decided to follow in the footsteps of an artistic family - but exclusively on her own axis.

At FAMU along its own axis

Ráchel is currently preparing for the entrance exams at FAMU. Her ambition is to become a director. And even though she grew up in an acting family, she definitely doesn't want to make herself visible through her mother. As Frejová revealed, they both rejected the offer to participate in a TV competition for famous personalities and their children. "Ráchel wants people to perceive her independently, not as the daughter of an actress," said Frejová.

Parenting after separation

Kristýna Frejová has a daughter with musician and cafe owner Jakub Štorek. Although their relationship fell apart, they managed their education in harmony. Ráchel thus grew up in a balanced environment, where relationships between parents and their partners were full of respect. "She never served as a weapon against the other," Frejová praises herself in retrospect.

Ráchel is currently studying at a grammar school taught in English, regularly commutes between Holešovice and Vinohrady, and has already developed a strong sense of independence. "It's a mix of both parents," laughs Frejová. "She has her own pace and inner peace. We mustn't disturb her."

Acting roots, but a different direction

Frejová herself knows what it's like to live in the shadow of a well-known surname. She is the daughter of the legendary Ladislav Frej and the actress Věra Galatíková. Still, she never hid behind her roots, and her daughter sees it the same way. Although it is not excluded that they would meet at work one day, Ráchel's goal for now is to build her own name.

Without a partner, but happy

Kristýna Frejová is stable both on stage and in life. He does not talk about his partner, the tabloid speculates whether he is single or just very discreet. She says herself that she is happy the way it is. And that she is not actively looking for a possible man in her life. "Perhaps I am too harsh. A friend once told me according to my horoscope that I should get used to living alone," she laughs today.
