How many children does Bolek Polívka have? The eldest Kamila stays out of the limelight, but she is still a strong personality

The actor Bolek Polívka belongs to the most prominent figures of Czech theater and film - and also to the most prolific fathers in Czech show business. He has six children with four different women. While some of them are well known to the public, such as Anna or Vladimír Polívkov, his eldest daughter Kamila remains rather in the background. Nevertheless, he is an important name in the cultural world.

Kamila Polívková – the oldest and yet the least visible

Kamila was born to Stanislava Polívková, the first wife of Bolek Polívka, and today she is over fifty. Although she has a rich artistic career behind her, she never sought media attention. She is a scenographer, director and dramaturg who has established herself not only in the Czech Republic, but also abroad. She collaborated with the National Theatre, worked in German-speaking countries and participated in films, including Hřebejk's Otpadu, města, smrti, for which she was nominated for the Czech Lion.

She tried acting for a while, but quickly understood that she didn't want to be on stage. "I'm not comfortable being the center of attention," she admitted in the past.

Other Bolka Polívky children – famous and inconspicuous

Polívková's second child is Anna Polívková, a well-known actress and recipient of several acting awards. Here is the actor with Evelyna Steimarová. With the French actress Chantal Poullain, he then has Vladimír Polívka, who today appears on television screens and in the theater.

With his current partner and wife Marcela Polívková, Bolek has three more children – Jan, František and Mariana. It was Marcela who won the actor's heart so much that, after years of living together, she also became his legal wife - the wedding symbolically took place in her fifties. Today, Mariana is studying abroad and according to Polívka, she is "the smartest and most beautiful of all the children", as she says with a smile.

An artistic clan with deep roots

The Polívkov family is full of talent and artistic spirit. Although each of the siblings followed a different path, they are united by a deep relationship to the theater and creation. Marcela, Bolek's wife, also recently appeared on stage - according to Polívka himself, she behaves like she's at home on stage, but she says it's inspiring.
