Michal Suchánek's daughter is a serial star. Berenice complained about the lack of work, then secretly married

In addition to a successful career, actor Michal Suchánek also has a family of which he can be justifiably proud. His Berenika Suchánková decided to follow in his footsteps and become an actress. Although she already has several significant roles to her credit, recently she openly admitted that there are not as many offers as she would like. But another event brought her joy - she got married in June.

Family background and first steps on stage

Michal Suchánek has been living with his wife Renata for over 35 years, who has always provided him with a solid family background. Together they raised two children – son Jáchym, who went on the path of directing and production, and daughter Berenik.

She was attracted to art from an early age. At the age of four, she started tap dance, in which she made it to the double world champion in formations. In addition, she played the piano and attended acting clubs. Already as a child, she starred in the show Tele Tele, where her famous father also worked.

Later, she decided to go to the Jaroslav Ježek conservatory and began to devote herself to musical acting, which she fell in love with.

An honest confession about the lack of roles

Although Berenika is known for several series - most recently from Chatař ze Švihova and ZOO - last year she confided that offers are decreasing. She wrote on Instagram that no agency invited her to the casting and that she is actively approaching theaters herself.

"I don't want it to sound like a job request, I'm just testing the power of social networks," she explained, adding that she also knows from her father that some actors are easily forgotten when casting. Her contribution aroused a great response and opened a debate about the difficulties of the acting profession.

Secret wedding in a villa

But this June, a big life change came. Berenika married her partner Radek. The ceremony took place in the exclusive Volman villa in Čelákovice, where only three weddings take place a year. The price of such a day can go up to 150 thousand crowns, but the experience is apparently unforgettable.

It is interesting that the actress adopted the surname Šrettr, which comes from her grandfather. Her husband kept his original surname Úleha, but added the name Šrettr to it.
