Vivien Babišová, daughter of entrepreneur and political figure Andrije Babiš, is one of the most visible faces of the young generation of Czech "cream". Although she might give the impression that her life is significantly easier than her peers, the reality is different. The family does not hide the fact that Vivien has to "go from below" and work on herself. According to her, this is precisely how she builds respect and professional experience.
Elite education at home and abroad
Vivien grew up in a very supportive environment and her education corresponds to that. She attended the Prague British International School, which is one of the most expensive schools in the Czech Republic – the annual tuition exceeds half a million crowns. After graduation, she continued her studies in Spain, where she focused on the international environment and business fields.
In addition to her studies, she has also been active in sport for a long time - she is a member of the Stork's Nest equestrian club. For her, horses are not only a hobby, but also a way to "switch off" from the pressure of the environment.
Style and elegance after her mother
Her mother Monika Babišová is known for her refined fashion taste, and so does Vivien. She enjoys clothes and design and advises each other when shopping.
"Mum and I often give each other tips on what to combine. We don't agree here and there, but we enjoy it,"
says Vivien.
The next generation at Agrofert
Although she could take an easier path, Vivien gradually works "from the top" in the structured parts of the holding Agrofert. She herself says that she first wants to understand the individual areas of the business:
"I visit the various companies in the holding and learn how they work. Food, chemistry, forestry... It is important for me to know people and processes."
According to Andrej Babiš, this is a conscious decision:
"They are young. If they want to prove something, they have to "
Her mother feels the same way:
"Vivien is goal-oriented and has a huge goal. She wants to understand the company in depth."
Interest in modern agriculture
Vivien has also appeared at public events related to the support of young farmers and sustainable technologies. At the Young Farmer 2024 competition, she spoke about the role of innovation in agriculture — from various sensors to artificial intelligence.
"It's amazing to see young people interested in agriculture. It's a promising field and the future."
She protects her privacy
Very little is known about her personal life. In addition to studying and working, she likes to travel — for example, to the Arctic Circle, where she got to know the local culture and nature. She keeps silent about her relationships and uses social networks to a limited extent.
No politics yet - yes business
Even if it were suggested that she could one day continue in her father's political footsteps, Vivien has no such plans yet. She sees her future in business and running a company, not in politics.
And those who know her say that if she gets into it, it won't be "just because of her last name", but because she really works, learns and gathers experience.
