Calin won Slavík, Viktor Sheen finished second. But not one of them arrived at the event

This year's Czech Nightingale had clear favorites in the hip hop & rap category and it turned out exactly like that. Calin took first place, Viktor Sheen took second. But the whole situation had one catch: not one of them came to the gala evening.

Calin posted a short video before the ceremony, where he thanked the fans, but at the same time announced that he would not be at the event. He didn't seem angry or dramatic - it sounded more like a personal decision, with no desire for a big media circus.

Viktor Sheen was a bit quieter. He sent his manager DKop to Slavík in his place, which started immediate debates as to why Sheen actually didn't arrive. It soon became clear that in the meantime he had a show with Niktend, so he was definitely not sitting at home on the couch.

Fans are now discussing on social networks if it was just a clash of dates, or if both performers simply did not want to be part of the show business. But the fact is that they dominated the hip hop category this year without even appearing on stage, and even that eventually became one of the main topics of the evening.
