Beáta Kaňoková from Zlatá Labuta lives with cameraman Tomáš Kotas. She has a daughter with an actor from Friends, a son with a new partner

Actress Beáta Kaňoková, who was loved by the audience as Eva Dušková in the series Zlatá labuť, is one of the outstanding personalities of Czech film and theater. Although he protects his privacy, fans have learned something about some life chapters. Today, she lives with cameraman Tomáš Kotas, with whom she has a small son. She gave birth to her daughter Juditka while still in a relationship with the actor Tomáš Havlínek, known, among other things, from the series Friends. From the Golden Swan to major film projects, Beáta Kaňoková has had a varied acting career. In addition to The Golden Swan, she appeared, for example, in the series Pan profesor, Branch or Moloch, and this year viewers will also see her in the movie Stvůry. She enjoys recognition in the industry not only for her acting talent, but also for her naturalness and ability to create believable, strong female characters.

First great love: actor Tomáš Havlínek

The actress previously formed a couple with Tomáš Havlínek, an actor known from the series Sedm schodó k moci or League of Male Wisdom. Together, they have a daughter Juditka, whom she tries to keep out of the media's attention.

"Children learn from us by imitation. Sometimes I watch her imitate me, and I have to laugh. And sometimes when she cries, I parody her - because she cries completely acting," Kaňoková confided with humor in one of the interviews.

Although she and Havlínek were once able to imagine wedding, the relationship ultimately did not last. Today, however, they are able to agree on their daughter's education very well. In the meantime, Havlínek found a new partner, actress Agáta Kryštůfková, with whom she has a daughter, Josefa.

A new family with cameraman Tomáš Kotas

After the breakup, Beát met her fateful man - cameraman Tomáš Kotas, with whom she has a son. She also tries to protect him from the public, she didn't even reveal his full name. "A few days ago, our little T came into our lives. Be happy and healthy. We love you," she wrote touchingly on Instagram at the time.

The actress admitted that the second pregnancy was not planned. "For me, pregnancies just happen when they are meant to. Neither one was planned, but it always came at the right time," she said openly.

She speaks of her partner with respect, but admits that she was worried before the birth. "I didn't know if he could handle the role of a father. I was worried if he would immediately fall in love with the child and accept the responsibility. But he handled it wonderfully," she confided in the Pokec Bowl podcast.

Talented cameraman and screenwriter

Tomáš Kotas works not only as a cameraman, but also as an occasional screenwriter. For example, he was behind the documentary Anet directed by Jiří Sádek and also participated in the music video Vlny by the singer Ewa Farne. His feature film Nahoře nebe, v dolina ja recently premiered, which also caught the attention of Beata herself.

"I knew he was talented, but I was completely fascinated by what he was able to film," the actress praised him.

At the same time, she admits that she doesn't take much professional advice from him: "I'm shy in front of him. I don't want to hear what he thinks about my acting, even though I know he would mean well," she laughs.

Return to the theater after maternity leave

Beáta Kaňoková will soon return to the stage. From January, he will start rehearsing a new production - an adaptation of the novel Doctor from the House of Trumpeters at the Rokoko Theater in Prague. She will play the main role of Vlasta Kálalova, a Czech doctor and traveler who specialized in tropical diseases.
